New Year, New Music!

Happy 2012 everyone! It's been awhile since I've posted here. Lemme share a few things! First of all, I got my web business up and running. I make synthesizer based Reason ReFills, and if I highly suggest you check them out if you a Reason user. The site was created by Roy Mayberry. I also suggest you check his site out, he's got some good art!

Now that that's out of the way, let's talk music, shall we? I've been experimenting with electronic drums and styles for a few months now, and I think I'm starting to get decent at programming dnb style drums. I'll post a link to a WIP Ive been working on, hope you guys like it. As far as the progression goes, I think it's a bit on the corny side, but I think it's pretty cool. Also: DAT BASS. Seriously, I love this new bass guitar tone I've been getting, it's really great.

I 'aint dead yet!

Well...the site is going through another make over... Sorry imaginary fans, but it'll be up soon! On the recording side things are taken a pretty big turn. My album is being put on hold, so I can do an EP instead. The EP will consist of older song ideas I did in 2007 and 2008, but fully realized with my better skills in both production and playing. It'll be called "Mythology" and itll probably be out this Spring...no promises. The first two tracks will be finished by next monday, and Ill upload the first full track to my website for streaming. I think that wraps things up, PEACE OUT YO!

New site online!

Well I finally updated the site with a fresh new look...ok well its not all that different, but it's definitely an improvement. It's been awhile since I've posted anything at all, so let me fill you in on whats been going on:

• I've been working hard on getting the album finished

• Yeah uh...thats about it really.

Look at that! we're already caught up! Anyway, as far as content from the album being uploaded there really isnt anything new (I know, I know...) but trust me, things have been getting done lately. Also, you may have noticed the image on the main page, and were wondering what that is. It is a sneak peak of things to come, thats what it is (aka a sneak peak of the album art). If you liked the image, check the artists webpage at roymayberry.com. Welps, that about wraps this little update thing up, I hope you enjoy the new look!
